How to reach us

From the north

Leave the M3 at Junction 9 and follow the signs towards Winchester city centre. Continue towards Eastgate Street and then Bridge Street, where Aline Specialists is located at 1 Bridge Street, SO23 9BH.

From the south

Leave the M3 at Junction 10 and follow Bar End Road towards the city centre. Continue along Chesil Street before turning onto Bridge Street. Journey times may vary according to traffic and local road conditions.

From the north

Take a service towards Winchester from London Waterloo, Basingstoke or another station on the main railway line. From Winchester Railway Station, the practice is approximately a 17-minute walk, or patients can take a local bus towards Winchester Bus Station.

From the south

Regular trains connect Winchester with Southampton Central and Eastleigh, with some direct journeys taking under 20 minutes. After arriving at Winchester Station, continue on foot towards the city centre and Bridge Street, or use a local bus to the bus station.

From Southampton, Chandler’s Ford or Eastleigh

The Bluestar 1 service connects Southampton with Winchester through Chandler’s Ford, Otterbourne and Compton. Passengers travelling from Eastleigh can also use the Stagecoach E1 service. Alight at Winchester Bus Station and continue for a short walk towards The Broadway and Bridge Street.

From Romsey or Fareham

The Stagecoach 66 service connects Romsey with Winchester, while the Stagecoach 69 service operates between Fareham and Winchester.

From Winchester Bus Station, follow The Broadway towards Bridge Street. Check the latest timetable before travelling, as services may be affected by route changes.

Parking

Paid parking is available at Chesil Street Multi-Storey Car Park, located a short walk from 1 Bridge Street. Patients can follow signs for the car park from Bar End Road and Chesil Street. Winchester’s Park and Ride services may also provide a convenient alternative when the city centre is busy.

  • From Chandler’s Ford: Join the M3 northbound, leave at Junction 10, then follow Bar End Road, Chesil Street and Bridge Street towards the practice.
  • From Eastleigh: Follow Allbrook Way and the A335, join the M3 northbound, then leave towards Bar End Road. Continue along Chesil Street before turning onto Bridge Street.
  • From Romsey: Follow the A3090 towards Winchester, continue towards the city centre, and follow signs for The Broadway, Eastgate Street and Bridge Street. Allow additional time during busy periods.
  • From Southampton: Follow the A33 towards the M3, join the M3 northbound, then leave towards Bar End Road. Continue along Chesil Street and turn onto Bridge Street.
  • From Fareham: Follow the A27 to the M27, continue west towards the M3 northbound, then leave towards Bar End Road. Follow Chesil Street and turn onto Bridge Street.
